The scientific programme will comprise both oral and poster presentations.

Abstract submission for all presentations is closed.

Abstracts of all papers will be available on-line to registered participants.

Submission of Contributed Papers

Authors are requested to submit abstracts of their contributions and to complete the submission form. These abstracts should be written in English.

The abstracts will be considered by selected members of the organization and scientific committees for inclusion in the final programme. Authors will be informed whether or not their abstract has been accepted.

Please note that any paper will only be included in the final programme if the author has formally registered and paid the fee before 4 January 2017.


The SCM-8 proceedings will be published in Analytica Chimica Acta. This is a journal with a broad scope, covering almost all aspects of our meeting. The papers must be written in the English language and all manuscripts will be subject to the normal, stringent, journal-refereeing procedure. Submitted manuscripts must describe new and innovative research. All papers intended for publication have to be submitted by 28 February 2017 at the latest, electronically to Authors should click on: "online manuscript submission" and follow the directions. The SCM-8 Symposium should be mentioned as a comment with your submission.
